To make a picture in your shape using Illustrator is very easy, there are only three steps to make a picuture like this

Step 1: Preparation

1. Select your shape and picture

Step 2: 

1. Copy the picture
2. Select the path of your shape
3. Change the "Drawing Mode" to "Draw Inside"
4. Paste the picture by "Ctrl - V"

Step 3: Finalize

1. Select the path with picture inserted
2. Select "Edit Content" from the toolbar
3. Adjust the position and size of the picture as you want
