TestDisk 從壞碟中拯救檔案 (A File Recovery Tool) 有否試過因USB手指或記憶咭損壞而失去相片或重要資料? 自己試過一次，好彩有定時backup，只是失去了少部份資料和花了一些時間，還可接受。 最近幫一個親戚從壞的手指中拯救多張做義工時與老人家的合照，過程中用了TestDisk，這個是freeware，網上有不少好評，操作亦算容易，加上它的網頁有詳細介紹，絕對值得推介一下。 是次拯救行動的USB手指因為內部損壞了(在windows上雖可以認出檔案，但大部份都不能讀)，所以情況不是太惡劣，但需要的是耐性，每下一個指令要等上五至十分鐘，拯救第一個檔案用了約四十分鐘，之後的我沒有計算，二十多張相片用了一個晚上(零晨到早上，電腦通宵工作，辛苦了)。救出來的相片不是完美(有些檔案真的花了，可看看右圖)，但總比什麼都沒有好的多，好彩是相片，如果是其他檔就可能開不了。 拯救行動總算滿意，如果大家有需要可以一試，記住要有耐性。 P.S. 最好就做密一點備份。 TestDisk http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk

Windows 7 build 7000 七月一日就會到期，要安新的release candidate來extend試用，官方稱要從新安裝，但從internet 發現只要小小俢改就可由7000直上7100版。 方法就是: 1. 從官網下載Windows 7 RC 2. 將ISO檔燒成DVD / 掛載ISO檔 3. 全抄所有file到硬碟中 (e.g. D:\Win7src) 4. 用notepad修改D:\Win7src\sources\cversion.ini 5. 將miniclient的value改為7000 6. 存檔後執行D:\Win7src\setup.exe 7. 升級會立即執行 8. 最後鍵入serial number 9. 完成後到期日會extend到2010年3月
